diverse-distractions asked: Re: relaxing arms. This is one of my bugbears, I find really stiff arms distracting. It should look pretty effortless- relaxed by your side, not jerking or with your hands tensed. Could you try keeping your arms down in everyday life? If your body is used to the posture you may find it takes less effort when you're dancing. (I love your feis Doctor btw).

Oh so today my teacher told me to relax my arms. In Irish dance. Is anyone else like that, where your arms are so glued to your sides that you look too tense? Seems weird to me… most people have the opposite problem…
